We went to watch a show at Club Mwah. A drag show. Men dressed, tucked, sculptured, hormonified, breast-implanted and beautified. The show was a sort of comedic musical, mocking some famous plays such as Les Miserables. There were "women" who looked very much as though they were females. And there were also "women" who still looked very much like males. Either way, being a he/she is a very common thing here and it is widely acceptable, as well. So, we sat in the lounge, trying to laugh at Filipino humor and being entertained at least. When the show ended, we all got up to dance with the performers. It was definitely an interesting experience as the pictures clearly demonstrate.

In other, less dragmatic news, Cory is home! He arrived Saturday night from Oz. He had such a wonderful time visiting with Ams and Del, Amy's parents and my mom, too. He found and drank several of his favorite Aussie brew, Little Creatures; went to an Aussie Rules game; and enjoyed hanging out with the fam. Oh, and he managed to learn a few things at the conference, too. :) And, most importantly, he was able to squeeze all five bottles of wine from the B&B we stayed in last December (soooo good!) and four packages of Mint Slice (dessert cookies to die for) for me, all into his luggage, without being overweight. It's great to have him home.

Awesome! There's a drag show brunch in DC we've been meaning to go to.... Looks like you had a blast. Congrats to Cory for being the worlds best packer, I hope to accomplish the same task while we're in Italy!!!
Sounds like fun, always interesting things you find to do, I love your dress! Can't wait to see you in less than 2 weeks! Some good photographer took a great picture of you two in Bohol.....
