Stuck

Here we are, stuck inside on this miserable day. The storm started last night, woke me up, and has been raging ever since. It's now Saturday evening and we haven't seen the end of it yet. There is a tropical storm off the east coast of the Philippines, due to make its way across the island of Luzon, and north of Manila, tonight. When it hits land, it will turn into a tropical depression, with winds as high as 40 mph and lots of rain. Earlier today, we had winds of up to 60 mph. The road outside our building was flooded up to the thighs and the water retention culvert behind our building was overflowing. Poor Delia, our helper, was worried and left early today because her house was flooding. We were supposed to go to a show tonight, but it was canceled, thankfully. The roads are flooded and our driver is stuck an hour and a half away. So...we are stuck inside. And what more could we do than watch the storm, catch up on some movies and shows, set up the new iMac (!!!) and cuddle with the kittens???

Stuck...sounds like a new horror movie- High above the metropolis a couple with their kittens hunkers down while a looming storm encapsulates their building.

Doesn't sound like too bad a Saturday to me..... stuck with little wee ones to cuddle and a new computer with football all weekend long, hmmmmmm, sounds great! Just be safe on those rain soaked roads when you do get out!
