Now that we have a new camera (a tiny little brown Canon), we won't have to bore you with just words. :) Here's the latest about the three kittens:
Buaya, our little princess, continues to be the most petite, cutest little firecracker. She is one independent little miss and can definitely hold her own against her brothers. Her favorite toy is none other than the milk lid ring we give her when we open a new bottle of milk. Nothing like cheap entertainment. Cory compares her to a regal lioness trapped in a kitty's body. She doesn't like to be held, she purrs the least and she wrestles with just about anything, even imaginary things, just to keep up-to-date with her skills. But she's so darn adorable, you can't help but love her.
Bola, the chubby one, is super heavy now and still the biggest teddy bear. He loves mommy and will cuddle up with her any day. He is afraid of the nail clippers and tucks his feet under whenever he lays down, just so he can avoid them. He is always the last one to try something new or to play with a toy. He makes us laugh just because he's him. Cory compares Bola to a ground sloth. I think that's hilarious.
Palaaway, the most slender and tallest of the three, has got to be the weirdest cat ever. He constantly chases and bites his tail like a dog (for several minutes at a time), has a fetish for jumping (and staying) on backs (for a really long time, if you'd let him), chases shadows on the walls and LOVES water. He could play in the sink all day - with the water on. He is mesmerized by the drain and what could be inside of it. His favorite person is daddy.
All three love to play in cereal boxes. Their favorite sleeping spot is on top of the refrigerator. They get cranky if we're away too long. They're still rambunctious as ever, even after the snip snip. They are intrigued by the sounds of a flushing toilet. But, even when they're naughty and we have to go fetch them from the hallway outside the apartment or the Kitty-Free Zone or put them in a time-out when they jump on the counters while we get our meals ready, they purr immediately upon pick-up. We love that. Really, they are a whole lot of trouble, but also a whole lot of joy.
I've tried to upload a video for the first time of the not-so-little kittens playing at the kitchen sink...
