In the last month and a half...many things have transpired.
1. A guys weekend in Boracay for a bachelor party (think stumbling adult men face-planted in sand or pool-hopping, think loud music, shisha and vulgarity).
2. A gals weekend in Hong Kong for a bachelorette party (think giant inflatable penis touring the streets of Lan Kwai Fong and paparazzi trailing us everywhere in order to take photos and sign said penis, think free shots and lots of laughs).
3. A trip to Singapore.
4. The news: We got the house. We will be moving into a village next year. We've already picked out paint colors and ordered some new furniture. Our help will be moving in, just in case we weren't spoiled enough. We will have an awesome rooftop balcony, complete with lounge chairs, tables, plants, a bbq and a huge umbrella for sun-protection. You will have to wait for photos. The house is gonna rock! With our move coming up this June, we've been going through the flat, giving away unneeded items, organizing paperwork and getting ready to start fresh.
5. End-of-year assessments, writing reports, organizing files, filling out tedious forms and sorting and packing for next year's move to Grade 4. Same for Cory, except without the sorting and organizing for Grade 4 and with the added stress of leading his department in year-end procedures.
These events may explain why the blog has received so little attention these days...but I promise I'll get back on it for the few of you who do still read it. And I thank those of you who do. :) Very much.
