And then you will understand just one of a multitude of reasons why we do not teach there and why we will not for the rest of our careers.
Until education becomes a priority for our society, we will never move forward. Kids are the future. They need to be nurtured, guided and inspired. If they are not, society will eventually fail. That is not pessimism, that is common sense.

Yep, it totally stinks. I constantly am re-evaluating what I should do about it. How I'd love to ditch teaching in the States. I think if we stay, I'll be swapping careers.
