After a fun-filled, airplane-themed birthday party at Ayala Triangle Park, complete with ice cream, sugar cookies, lots of outdoor madness and a light show, Aiston's actual birthday was celebrated quietly at home with a special spaghetti dinner. We ate with the Ates and enjoyed singing Happy Birthday and watching him blow out the candles on his chocolate cake. Ace absolutely loved that all the "pesents" on the couch were for him. Combine those with the $75 he collected from his friends to donate to WWF to help save the sea turtle species, Ace was incredibly fortunate.
