While Ace is cute as can be dressed in his soccer shirt, running the field in a sprint, attempting to kick the ball and stretching after his practices, most of the time he is observed doing one of these four things:
1. Antagonizing his teammates
2. Using his hands instead of his feet
3. Being redirected by his coaches (I don't know how they have the patience for this!)
4. Sitting while getting ready for a practice drill...and remaining seated during the practice drill
So, maybe he's just too young. We get it. He's only 3. We wanted to introduce him to something new and let him give it a go for a few weeks. Maybe he'll never be cut out for soccer. Another very typical thing for him to do is to start dancing in the middle of the field while all the other kids are vying for the ball and trying to score goals. He does not seem to mind a bit. He loves to stand near the goalies and poke them through the nets. Or maybe he just doesn't appreciate organized sports...yet. I have never seen a worse listener. Well, I like to think it's more his uniquely stubborn personality, dislike of authority at such a young age (and if that's the case, we are in trouble) or his disinterest in being told what to do when he has other things in mind. Or, maybe he's just a toddler. We love this kid!

He's not part of the swarm of bees yet, huh? No worries, it's good to keep him active since he's such a busy kid and organized sports is good for children...... so what if he isn't a Pele, we love him anyway, our little bugaboo!
Too funny! Dancing in the middle of the field!?! Just perfect! He's just finding his way, gotta keep trying though, right?
